Senior Engineering Manager - Regulatory Reporting

Overview

Lead multiple software engineering and analyst teams delivering a Regulatory Reporting platform for Risk & Capital Technology. Own technical direction, architecture oversight, people leadership, resourcing, budget, and planning.

What you'll do

• Manage multiple professional teams, including hiring and performance evaluations.
• Provide technical leadership and development oversight to engineers and analysts.
• Ensure applications follow appropriate architecture and design patterns.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, and AI-assisted development tools.
• Coach mid-level and junior developers and analysts.
• Drive improvements to engineering standards and processes.
• Collaborate with global engineering, business analysis, DevOps, and support teams.

What you'll need

• 15+ years of relevant application design and development experience.
• At least 5 years managing multiple development teams.
• Experience building robust, scalable, and maintainable applications using object-oriented design.
• Experience using AI/ML tools and effective prompting in large-scale applications.
• Prior banking domain experience.
• Strong experience with Java, Spring, databases, Linux, and software delivery tools.
• Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Capital Markets and Credit Risk.
• Master’s degree.
• Experience with horizontally scalable, highly available, resilient applications.
