Senior Engineering Manager for Product Engineering, leading backend teams that build core product surfaces used by lawyers and legal professionals.

What you'll do

• Define, build, and drive a multi-quarter technical strategy for user-facing features.
• Collaborate with Design, Product, and AI teams to execute high-impact initiatives.
• Define and evolve the architecture for a fast-moving, AI-powered application.
• Hire, grow, and retain backend engineers in a high-trust environment.
• Contribute to code and architecture reviews, unblock teams, and lead by example.
• Work with cross-functional partners to align product initiatives with company goals.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering management leading product engineering teams.
• 12+ years of software engineering experience as a backend engineer.
• Track record of leading high-performing, engaged engineering teams.
• Experience with backend systems including Python, Java, or Go.
• Experience with modern cloud-native infrastructure.
• Ability to anticipate scaling bottlenecks and take proactive measures.
• Experience building RAG pipelines and managing the data lifecycle.
