Senior Engineering Manager, Consumer

Overview

Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Consumer engineering teams responsible for direct-to-consumer user experience and the pre-application to checkout funnels.

What you'll do

• Oversee teams building fullstack features across the consumer funnels.
• Lead and execute projects to optimize conversion rates using AB tests.
• Collaborate with Underwriting, Enterprise Sales, and Data engineering on user and event lifecycle and data models.
• Help decompose a monolithic application into scalable microservices.
• Ideate and experiment on product strategies with Product, Design, Content, and Marketing.
• Use quantitative and qualitative insights to make data-informed decisions based on pod KPIs.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of engineering management experience.
• 5+ years of engineering experience as an individual contributor.
• Experience delivering large, business-critical, cross-functional projects.
• Ability to work with Product to craft strategies for new business opportunities.
• Ability to own consumer metrics including ARPU, conversion, retention, and churn.
• Strong verbal and written communication for cross-functional collaboration.
