Overview
Senior Enterprise Security Architect (senior individual contributor) responsible for defining and driving AlphaSense’s enterprise security architecture strategy across the technology landscape.
What you'll do
- Own and maintain enterprise security architecture across Zero Trust, identity, network, endpoint, SaaS, internal infrastructure, mobile, and OT domains.
- Author and govern security architecture principles, reference designs, and technical standards.
- Drive cross-team alignment by leading without authority through technical credibility and structured decision-making.
- Identify architectural gaps and emerging threat vectors and prescribe remediation roadmaps.
- Provide architecture leadership for strategic initiatives such as Zero Trust maturity and identity consolidation.
- Conduct security architecture reviews and define requirements/acceptance criteria for strategic projects.
- Maintain living enterprise security architecture documentation, including ADRs and reusable design patterns.
What you'll need
- 8+ years of experience in information security and at least 4 years in security architecture/engineering lead/equivalent senior technical role.
- Experience designing and implementing Zero Trust architectures including ZTNA, identity-aware access, and microsegmentation.
- Expertise in identity and access management including Okta (or equivalent), SAML, OIDC, SCIM, MFA, PAM, and certificate-based authentication.
- Endpoint security architecture experience across macOS and Windows (EDR CrowdStrike preferred), plus MDM (Kandji/Intune) and patch management.
- Experience architecting SaaS security programs including vendor risk frameworks, CASB/SSPM, and OAuth/API integration controls.
- Knowledge of network security architecture: firewalls, SD-WAN, 802.1X, DNS security, and network segmentation.
- Ability to produce high-quality security architecture documentation, including reference architectures, design patterns, and ADRs.
