Overview

Senior Executive, Compliance for Payments Compliance at PhonePe, supporting merchant compliance review and regulatory readiness.

What you'll do

• Review new products and features on the PhonePe PAPG to ensure compliance sign-off before go-lives.
• Partner with product teams across the product lifecycle to flag and resolve compliance and risk issues.
• Map preventative and detective controls to mitigate compliance risks and manage implementation.
• Establish Regulatory Change Management to track and implement RBI and NPCI communications with evidence.
• Validate and file regulatory reports with regulators in a timely manner.
• Support regulatory inspections and audit preparedness, including data validation.
• Maintain oversight of compliance metrics and prepare monthly compliance dashboards for governance forums.

What you'll need

• At least 3+ years of experience in Merchant Compliance.
• Postgraduate in Finance and Risk Management / MBA / CA / CS.
• In-depth knowledge of compliance environment in banking/payment/fintech and Indian regulations.
• Knowledge of RBI, NPCI, and KYC guidelines for merchant products (MD-PA and MD-KYC).
• Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record-keeping guidelines.
• Ability to communicate clearly and precisely.
• Analytical mindset to identify complexities in procedures and regulations.
