Senior Financial Systems Engineer

Overview

Support, enhance and govern Cushman & Wakefield's OneStream SaaS platform for enterprise financial processes, including consolidation, close, reporting, forecasting, planning and analysis (xP&A).

What you'll do

• Partner with Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Master Data Management and IT stakeholders to identify process improvement and automation opportunities.
• Drive delivery of scalable solutions aligned with strategic business objectives and enterprise finance transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and business users to define requirements, prioritize enhancements and support roadmap execution.
• Configure and maintain OneStream metadata, business rules, workflows, dashboards, reporting objects and application settings.
• Ensure adherence to governance standards, development best practices and change management processes.
• Support platform upgrades, releases and ongoing optimization initiatives.
• Provide system support during monthly, quarterly and annual financial close cycles.
• Participate in consolidation processes, workflow execution, reporting deliverables and issue resolution.
• Partner with Finance teams to identify and resolve data, process and report discrepancies.
• Administer and maintain OneStream Development, Test/Pre-Production and Production environments.
• Monitor system performance, availability and operational health, proactively identifying improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate deployments and migration activities across environments.
• Support management of application security, role-based access controls, segregation of duties and user provisioning.
• Perform periodic access reviews and support internal and external audit activities.
• Ensure compliance with corporate governance policies, regulatory requirements and security standards.
• Serve as the point of technical escalation for complex application, data, consolidation and integration issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions to prevent recurring problems.
• Document system solutions, support procedures and technical standards.
• Support and enhance budgeting, forecasting, scenario modeling, planning and analytical capabilities within OneStream.
• Develop solutions that improve planning accuracy, reporting efficiency and management insights.
• Partner with business stakeholders to expand adoption of xP&A capabilities across the organization.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise financial systems, performance management platforms, or financial close and consolidation applications.
• Strong understanding of financial consolidation, close, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting processes.
• Experience configuring and supporting OneStream or comparable Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) platforms.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with OneStream, Oracle Hyperion or other EPM solutions.
• Experience with application integrations, data management, workflow design and data quality controls.
• Knowledge of financial governance, internal controls, compliance and audit requirements.
• Experience with system performance tuning and optimization.
• Development experience using C#, .NET or related technologies.
• Experience supporting SaaS-based enterprise applications and cloud environments.
