Senior Front End Software Engineer

Overview

Senior Frontend Software Engineer to design, build, and scale high-performance web applications for enterprise customers using React/JavaScript, with interest in AI-assisted engineering.

What you'll do

• Design and maintain scalable, performant UIs using React and modern JavaScript.
• Build and maintain reusable component libraries and design systems.
• Contribute to frontend architecture, state management, and performance optimization.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
• Own CI/CD workflows using Jenkins and manage source control using Bitbucket/Git.
• Track work in Jira with clear technical scoping.
• Evaluate and integrate AI-assisted development tools and practices.
• Champion accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, and responsive design.
• Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, production-ready UI.

What you'll need

• JavaScript (ES6+) including strong fundamentals and asynchronous patterns.
• React (5+ years hands-on) with hooks, component composition, performance optimization, and state management (Redux Toolkit or equivalent).
• Node.js experience building/maintaining backend services, REST APIs, or BFF layers.
• HTML5 and CSS3 skills including semantic markup, responsive layouts, and CSS-in-JS or utility-first frameworks.
• Experience with Jira, Jenkins, and Bitbucket/Git.
• Exposure to Vite and/or Webpack for bundling, build configuration, and performance tuning.
• Practical exposure to AI-assisted development, including LLM coding assistants and related tool-use patterns.
• Experience with micro-frontend architectures and Module Federation.
• Ability to write unit tests using Vitest, React Testing Library, Mocha, or Chai.

Nice to have

• Exposure to SSE (Server-Sent Events) or real-time streaming patterns.
• Prior mentoring or feature-team leadership experience.
• TypeScript.
• Docker and Kubernetes.
