Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (React/Node)

Overview

Senior Full Stack Software Engineer role for building and maintaining an enterprise social media SaaS application.

What you'll do

• Build high-quality, clean, scalable, and reusable code with best practices including code reviews and unit testing.
• Work with product owners to understand requirements and own code from design through delivery.
• Participate in feature development and bug resolution in a CI/CD Kanban environment.
• Manage multiple projects with material-technical risk and may serve as a functional lead or technical owner.
• Work on several products to extend functionality and maintain zero customer-reported bugs.
• Mentor colleagues and help promote knowledge-sharing.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of experience designing and implementing highly interactive UI for high-volume, robust web applications.
• Strong JavaScript skills plus React.js / Node.js.
• Advanced knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations.
• Advanced experience with relational databases, specifically Postgres, including development, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
• Experience working in a cloud environment (migration to GCP).

(Nice to have)

• Undergraduate degree preferred (or equivalent relevant experience considered).
