Senior FullStack Engineer - Grafana Catalog | US | Remote

Overview

Senior Full-Stack Engineer on the Grafana Catalog team, helping grow the Grafana plugin ecosystem, including the Grafana Marketplace that lets partners and independent developers sell paid plugins.

What you'll do

• Build new Marketplace features across the Grafana frontend, Go services and grafana.com.
• Improve how users find and install plugins in the plugin catalog, for both humans and agents such as Grafana Assistant.
• Make it easier and faster for developers to build, test and publish plugins.
• Automate and improve the plugin review process that every published plugin goes through.
• Support the operations and reliability of plugin installs and delivery in Grafana Cloud.
• Talk to plugin developers and partners and turn their feedback into roadmap items.
• Come up with suggestions for process improvements and work closely with the rest of the Grafana Division.

What you'll need

• Solid experience with Golang and TypeScript.
• Experience with React and building user-facing web applications.
• Experience with Kubernetes and microservices.
• Experience writing clean, robust, and performant software that is easily maintained by others.
• Experience participating in an on-call rotation and performing operations/SRE tasks.

Nice to have

• Have built or published a Grafana plugin.
• Have worked on a marketplace, app store or package registry, or on billing and licensing.
• Have built developer tooling such as CLIs, SDKs or CI pipelines used by other engineers.
• Have strong experience working with a Product Manager or external stakeholders.

Details

• Full-time, remote role; candidates considered in the US and Canada only, within the Eastern or Central time zones.
• Compensation: USD $167,143 - $200,572 OTE/base in the US, plus RSUs; actual pay varies by level, experience and skillset.
• Global annual leave policy of 30 days per annum, including 3 Grafana Shutdown Days.
• In-person onboarding for new hires.
