Overview
Senior Identity Solution Specialist in Okta’s Global Presales team, delivering technical presentations and demonstrations for securing complex on-premises environments.
What you’ll do
- Lead modernization discovery sessions with infrastructure and security leaders for aging WAM stacks.
- Deliver tailored hybrid architecture demos focused on Okta Access Gateway (OAG) and bridging legacy apps.
- Design and execute outcome-focused proof of concepts for securing header-based apps and on-prem ERP systems.
- Create and maintain reusable demonstration systems, diagrams, documentation, and POC templates.
- Provide strategic and technical guidance to Solutions Engineering teams across Okta identity platforms.
- Deliver keynote presentations, webinars, and technical sessions at industry and customer events.
- Contribute frameworks, tools, and content to enable Solutions Engineering execution.
What you’ll need
- Expert-level understanding of legacy Web Access Management tools such as CA Siteminder, Oracle Access Manager (OAM), and PingAccess.
- Proficiency managing identity synchronization and access between on-premises environments (Active Directory, LDAP) and the cloud.
- Mastery of Kerberos, header-based authentication, and bridging to OIDC/SAML.
- Hands-on experience securing and integrating enterprise suites including SAP and Oracle EBS (and PeopleSoft is mentioned).
- Strong understanding of reverse proxies, load balancers, and Okta Access Gateway (OAG) deployment models.
- Knowledge of SSL/TLS termination, certificate management, and on-premises network security.
- Experience integrating identity platforms with SIEM (Splunk, Sentinel) and SOAR tools.
