Senior Java Developer - Vice President

Overview

Senior Java Developer (Vice President) role focused on building risk analytics platforms for Market Risk, enabling large-scale processing and fast insights for critical regulations.

What you'll do

• Architect and build robust, scalable data pipelines to ingest and process billions of trade-level PV calculations.
• Develop and optimize large-scale aggregation jobs using Apache Spark.
• Design and deliver APIs for flexible, on-demand access to aggregated and non-aggregated risk data.
• Integrate NLP capabilities to create query-based interfaces for data exploration.
• Load and model large aggregated datasets into OLAP engines such as Apache Pinot, Apache Druid, and Trino.
• Build analytical tools and dashboards for summary views and drill-down on the OLAP layer.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Quantitative, and Risk Management stakeholders to deliver solutions.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java and/or Scala.
• Expert-level SQL.
• Hands-on big data experience, particularly Apache Spark.
• Proven experience with high-performance OLAP databases such as Apache Pinot, Apache Druid, or Trino.
• Expert-level understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• A quantitative or technical degree (e.g., Computer Science, Financial Mathematics, or Financial Engineering).
