AI Platforms Engineer

Overview

AI Platforms Engineer role focused on building scalable, secure self-service cloud data platform tools and frameworks. You’ll work on reliability, automation, documentation, and cloud architecture while collaborating with distributed teams.

What you'll do

• Design, construct, and test scalable cloud data platforms for self-service use.
• Engineer tools to enforce privacy protection, lineage, and data security for data at rest and in transit.
• Create and refine tools to automatically identify anomalies and data quality problems.
• Contribute to and review release notes and technical documentation.
• Design highly scalable solutions using knowledge of instance strategy and the technology stack.
• Evaluate novel packages and tools to expand platform capabilities.
• Collaborate with partners and team members across multiple time zones.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Hands-on experience with a modern data stack, including deep expertise in Databricks.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language used in data engineering (Python, Scala, or Java).
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Experience building and operating large-scale cloud data pipelines (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Experience using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code and Git for version control.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and performance optimization for analytical workloads.
