Overview
Staff Software Engineer in OneTrust’s Design Partner Program, serving as a technical leader to turn strategic customer insights into scalable, secure, reusable platform capabilities for the AIReady Governance Platform.
What you'll do
- Drive design, development, and delivery of scalable platform services, APIs, integrations, and user experiences.
- Translate customer requirements into generalized product capabilities, shared services, and reusable engineering patterns.
- Collaborate with product and architecture partners to validate technical approaches and refine requirements.
- Set and sustain high engineering standards for code quality, architecture, testing, observability, and secure practices.
- Apply AI-assisted engineering practices/tools to improve development velocity, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Provide technical leadership across teams by guiding architecture decisions and resolving ambiguity.
What you'll need
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience building enterprise SaaS applications, distributed systems, or cloud-native platforms.
- Experience designing and developing scalable APIs, microservices, integrations, event-driven systems, and backend services.
- Hands-on expertise with Java, Spring, TypeScript, Python, REST APIs, SQL, NoSQL, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
- Experience contributing to architecture decisions, system design, technical tradeoffs, and implementation patterns for complex enterprise products.
- Ability to build reliable, secure, observable, and maintainable production systems.
- Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, DevOps practices, Agile delivery, and modern software development lifecycle practices.
- Experience mentoring engineers and influencing technical direction across teams.
