Overview

Senior Manager, Software Engineering (Data) to lead and grow a data/advertising engineering team and drive technical execution with stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Help grow the engineering team.
• Build scalable, resilient, high-performing distributed systems for data processing, reporting, and analytics.
• Collaborate across engineering, data science, and product management to influence work direction and architecture.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders to inform and influence requirements and delivery.
• Own key initiatives and make pragmatic technical decisions.
• Manage stakeholders and develop domain knowledge of advertising business needs.

What you'll need

• 15+ years engineering experience with modern big data technologies including Spark, Airflow, Scala, Java, Python, and relational databases.
• 6+ years experience leading technical teams and large-scale data processing systems.
• Experience building, growing, and managing teams.
• Subject matter expertise in advertising and data processing.
• Solid understanding of data engineering, big data technologies, analytics, and data science.
• Strong communication skills.
• Self-motivated, accountable, and ownership-oriented; critical thinker and practical decision maker.

Details

• Hybrid working: generally work in the office Monday through Thursday; Fridays are generally flexible for remote work with some exceptions.
