Senior Lead Engineer

Overview

Lead the design, development, integration, verification, and commissioning of Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) hardware. The role also supports estimates, customer and supplier engagement, technical documentation, and guidance for junior engineers.

What you'll do

• Lead ATE hardware development from conception through implementation.
• Design and develop electrical and mechanical test equipment specifications.
• Develop and review schematics, drawings, bills of materials, and assembly instructions.
• Design interconnect solutions, including interface test adapters.
• Drive trade studies, prototypes, circuit simulations, and signal-conditioning designs.
• Lead integration, verification, validation, and commissioning activities.
• Guide junior engineers and support customer, supplier, and business-pursuit activities.

What you'll need

• 7–10 years of experience.
• BE, B-Tech, ME, or M-Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Experience selecting components and creating or reviewing electrical, schematic, and assembly drawings.
• Hands-on experience with PCBA schematic design software.
• Hands-on experience with NI hardware, data acquisition systems, power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters, analysers, or signal generators.
• Knowledge of Serial, Ethernet, and ARINC communication protocols.
• Experience with requirements management, configuration control, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AutoCAD, PSpice, and MS Visio.
