Senior Lead, Software Engineering - Development

Overview

Senior Lead software engineering support role providing Level 1/2 technical support for a client’s embedded, real-time Linux, cloud-edge, and platform software environments.

What you'll do

• Receive and triage Level 1 support cases.
• Collect diagnostics, identify missing data, and attempt issue reproduction.
• Provide known solutions, communicate next steps, and maintain case status.
• Perform Level 2 advanced troubleshooting and deeper issue reproduction across software, platform, and integration layers.
• Escalate defects, product issues, security concerns, and certification/compliance questions via approved customer-defined channels.
• Document solutions, develop knowledge resources, mentor support engineers, and contribute to process improvement.

What you'll need

• 5+ years experience is required.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills across embedded systems, Linux, real-time systems, cloud-edge platforms, and software integration.
• Ability to analyze logs, configurations, customer scenarios, reproduction steps, and environment-specific data.
• Experience with case management, ITSM tools, support workflows, escalation procedures, and knowledge documentation.
• Familiarity with C/C++, Python, shell, Git, Kubernetes, containers, Linux systems, debugging, and embedded development tools.
