Senior Manager/Associate Director - Finance

Overview

Senior Manager/Associate Director of Finance will own and oversee Instawork India’s finance/accounting team and manage U.S. accounts receivable, reporting to the U.S. Controller.

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end financial management for the Indian entity, including payroll, accounts payable, and month-end close.
• Manage U.S. accounts receivable, including managing AR collections analysts.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts for Instawork’s Indian entity.
• Drive corporate accounting, regulatory/compliance, and financial reporting and month-end/year-end close support.
• Lead statutory activities including GST and Income tax return preparation and filings and quarterly/annual returns.
• Supervise and mentor the India finance team and AR collections analysts.

What you'll need

• CA with 7–10 years of experience.
• Knowledge of Indian Accounting.
• Knowledge of US GAAP.
• Ability to work some U.S. Pacific time zone hours.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• NetSuite experience is desirable.
• Excellent written and communication skills and proven people management.
