Senior Manager Engineering

Overview

Senior Manager Engineering and Site Engineering Lead responsible for overall site engineering leadership, strategy, and site master planning in a pharmaceutical regulated manufacturing environment.

What you'll do

• Ensure safe, compliant, reliable, and cost-effective operations of site utilities, facilities, infrastructure, and engineering systems.
• Develop and execute the site’s engineering strategy aligned with regulatory requirements and long-term objectives.
• Lead site master planning for manufacturing expansion, technology upgrades, capacity enhancement, and infrastructure modernization.
• Own and manage annual operating budgets and multi-year capital investment roadmaps.
• Drive CAPEX identification, business case preparation, approvals, execution, and post-implementation benefit realization.
• Lead reliability excellence and engineering excellence using preventive/predictive maintenance and continuous improvement approaches.
• Oversee compliance with cGMP/WHO GMP, EHS regulations, data integrity, and engineering standards.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or equivalent.
• Minimum 10-12 years of experience in pharmaceutical regulated manufacturing industries.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role.
• Experience with CAPEX portfolio management and investment prioritization.
• Ability to lead engineering digitalization and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
• Knowledge of sustainability, decarbonization, and energy optimization initiatives.
• Capability to develop engineering KPIs and performance dashboards.
