Senior Manager, Global Plant Engineering

Overview

Lead global plant engineering across the full lifecycle of customer deliveries, from sales support and concept development through project execution and lifecycle services.

What you'll do

• Lead and manage global plant engineering resources, execution, and development across the customer delivery lifecycle.
• Lead and manage discipline managers for piping, CSA, and layout to ensure quality, timely, and competitive outputs.
• Oversee engineering activities and subcontractor performance to support successful project execution.
• Recruit, manage performance, plan succession, and develop an engineering team.
• Continuously develop plant engineering practices in a systematic way to support strategic goals.
• Work with sales, procurement, manufacturing, construction, commissioning, and lifecycle support functions.

What you'll need

• Have a relevant B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering.
• Have 15–20 years of relevant engineering leadership experience in project-driven environments.
• Have excellent English proficiency (verbal and written).
• Have strong people leadership experience, including performance management and talent development.
• Be comfortable working in a global environment across multiple locations.
• Be willing to travel, including at short notice.

Details

• Location can be Chennai (as listed), with positions also available in Tampere, Karlstad, Sundsvall, Gothenburg, Shanghai, and Copenhagen.
• Reports to Vice President, Global Engineering, and is part of the PEC Global Engineering Management Team.
