Core Operations - Assistant Vice President

Overview

State Street is seeking an Assistant Vice President (AVP) to oversee multiple teams within Transaction Services and lead project and transition/change work from end to end.

What you'll do

• Direct and manage project development from strategy through execution and reporting.
• Collaborate with Business and Global Operations leads to identify resources for transition and change management projects.
• Identify, evaluate, and track project risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating with mitigation suggestions.
• Represent Global Operations in project meetings with clients and other State Street business lines.
• Develop full-scale project plans and related communications, and track milestones and deliverables.
• Estimate resources, timescales, and participants to achieve project goals; set and manage expectations.
• Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and contractors.

What you'll need

• 12–14+ years of experience in staff management and leading projects.
• Proven related industry experience in Trade Settlements/Trade Processing/Capture (preferred/proven track record).
• Knowledge of the asset management industry and processes supporting it.
• Strong influencing and negotiating skills (preferred).
• Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Word.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a business discipline preferred or equivalent work experience.
