Senior Manager, Market / Entity Financial Controllers (APAC)

Overview

Lead financial control and reporting for markets and legal entities across Asia Pacific from India, partnering with market finance teams, shared service centres, IT and regional stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Lead end-to-end financial control and month-end close for assigned APAC markets and legal entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage relationships with shared service centres, vendors and market teams to resolve issues and improve service outcomes.
• Monitor service performance using agreed metrics and lead continuous improvement and automation initiatives.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls; support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policy.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of finance professionals, setting clear expectations and supporting career growth.
• Coordinate system changes, process transitions or finance transformation activities to ensure smooth implementation and business readiness.

What you'll need

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, IT or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 7 years experience in finance operations, financial controlling, shared services or service delivery.
• Practical experience managing month-end close, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Strong awareness of internal controls and experience supporting internal or external audits.
• Experience managing vendors, shared service partners or outsourced providers.
• Practical experience with ERP systems such as SAP and strong Excel skills.
• Good written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Professional accounting qualification such as CA, ACCA or CIMA.
• Experience leading finance service delivery in a multinational or matrix organisation.
• Hands-on experience with process automation, robotic process automation or analytics and reporting tools such as Power BI.
• Background in finance transformation, ERP implementations or large-scale change programmes.
• Familiarity with audit readiness and internal control frameworks.
• Proven experience coaching and developing teams in a fast-paced environment.

Details

• Location: Bengaluru Luxor North Tower, India.
• Work mode: Hybrid, typically 2–3 days per week in an India office with remote work for the rest of the week.
• Occasional travel within the APAC region may be required.
