Senior Manager - Model Controls Engineer role focused on independently validating analytical models and strengthening controls for financial crimes detection and data-driven decisioning.

What you'll do

• Run independent model testing by replicating workflows and comparing test results to production outputs.
• Investigate, document, and validate discrepancies between production and test environments.
• Evaluate model behavior and outputs for consistency, reliability, and alignment to expected outcomes.
• Analyze large datasets to identify data quality issues, anomalies, and potential data drift.
• Develop and enhance automated testing, reconciliation, and monitoring capabilities.
• Support audit and regulatory activities with transparent, traceable, and well-documented validation processes.

What you'll need

• Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, analysis, reconciliation, and validation.
• Strong Python programming skills for analytics, automation, testing, and data quality assessments.
• Experience reviewing and evaluating code to understand model logic and data transformations.
• Ability to work effectively with large and complex datasets with attention to detail.
• Structured approach to documentation, testing, and governance activities.
• Ability to collaborate across technical and business teams to solve complex problems.
