Senior Manager – SAP Basis, Enterprise Apps SAP, Advisory

Overview

Senior Manager role within PwC's SAP Consulting services, focused on SAP Basis administration across enterprise SAP systems to help clients maximize the value of their SAP investment.

What you'll do

• Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, etc.).
• Perform regular system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Manage SAP system migrations and upgrades.
• Implement and maintain SAP security measures.
• Work closely with functional teams to support SAP modules and enhancements.
• Conduct regular backups and disaster recovery exercises.
• Manage the SAP transport management system and ensure proper change control procedures.
• Provide technical support and guidance to users and other IT professionals.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for SAP Basis processes and configurations.

What you'll need

• 10-20 years of experience.
• Bachelor of Technology or Bachelor of Engineering (BE/BTech/MBA/MCA/CAs listed as education qualification).
• Proven experience as an SAP Basis Consultant or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP systems and architecture.
• Strong understanding of operating systems (Windows, Unix/Linux) and databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Required skill: SAP ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming).

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP HANA, NetWeaver, and Fiori.
• SAP certification in Basis or HANA administration.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or SAP Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
