SAP BASIS Administrator/Service specialist

Overview

Senior SAP Basis Administrator responsible for supporting, maintaining and optimizing the organization's SAP system infrastructure, working with Service Managers of Design to enable business functions within the ERP and Reporting ecosystem.

What you'll do

• Drive the installation, configuration and maintenance of SAP systems, including the SAP application layer and HANA database.
• Plan and execute SAP system and OS upgrades, patches and service packs.
• Investigate and resolve SAP system and HANA database-related issues, including performance problems, connectivity errors and data inconsistencies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of SAP system configurations, procedures and troubleshooting guides.
• Collaborate with SAP developers, functional subject matter experts and infrastructure teams to ensure efficient and effective utilization of system resources.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related work experience.
• A minimum of 5 years relevant experience with SAP applications deployment, configuration and maintenance.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP Basis or HANA administration and familiarity with tools such as SAP Solution Manager, SAP Transport Management System (TMS), SAP System Monitoring and SAP BTP Admin.
• Prior Linux and/or Windows Server experience.
• Experience with SAP Applications running on a hyperscaler (e.g. Azure, AWS, etc.).
