Senior Manager, Software Engineering - Employee Productivity

Overview

Lead the engineering organization developing AI-powered employee productivity experiences across web, native mobile, and agentic interfaces. Own people leadership, product and technical strategy, architecture, delivery, and operational performance for employee-facing products at global scale.

What you'll do

• Lead, hire, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team.
• Define engineering vision, architecture, roadmap, and success measures.
• Manage prioritization, capacity planning, milestones, dependencies, and delivery.
• Provide technical leadership across web, mobile, cloud services, APIs, data platforms, and integrations.
• Deliver personalized search, knowledge, content, and workflow experiences using LLMs and intelligent agents.
• Establish evaluations, guardrails, observability, access controls, and human oversight for agentic systems.
• Own reliability, performance, incident response, security, privacy, accessibility, and cost efficiency.

What you'll need

• 12+ years of software engineering experience.
• 6+ years leading and managing high-performing engineering teams.
• Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in a stated technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale web or native mobile products.
• Experience with distributed full-stack systems and technical strategy.
• Knowledge of LLMs, agentic systems, search, recommendation, retrieval, or machine learning-powered products.
• Experience with web and mobile development, cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, APIs, data stores, CI/CD, and observability.

Nice to have

• Production generative AI or agentic product delivery experience.
• Experience building AI evaluation, safety, feedback, and governance frameworks.
• Experience shipping web and native iOS or Android experiences.
• Experience integrating HRIS, identity, collaboration, knowledge, and productivity platforms.
• Experience scaling teams through significant growth or organizational change.
