Senior Manager, Solutions Architect

Overview

Lead Vercel's APAC Solutions Architecture team and support sales across pre-sales and post-sales. Drive technical excellence, team development, strategic account engagement, and regional planning.

What you'll do

• Lead, develop, and manage the APAC Solutions Architecture team.
• Ensure technical excellence across pre-sales and post-sales cycles.
• Support key accounts through presentations, architecture reviews, and migration plans.
• Coach Solutions Architects on strategic accounts and critical deals.
• Partner with Engineering to provide product feedback from the field.
• Develop repeatable plays from team trends.
• Own regional planning, staffing, budgeting, and recruiting.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture/Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Technical Pre-sales.
• At least 2+ years in a leadership position.
• Strong knowledge of web technologies including Next.js, React, Node.js, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience leading, coaching, and scaling technical teams.
• Experience with enterprise and commercial customers across diverse industries.
• Understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, and frontend frameworks.
• Experience collaborating with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with Vercel, Next.js, or similar frontend frameworks.
• Experience leading SA teams at a high-growth SaaS or cloud infrastructure company.
• Expertise in developer tooling, edge computing, or performance optimization.
• Experience presenting at conferences, webinars, or large-scale customer events.

• Location: Sydney, Australia.
• Remote role in Australia.
• On-target earnings: AUD 280,000–350,000 yearly.
