Senior Marketing Manager, Brand Strategy

Overview

Senior strategist to bring brand and product closer together, ensuring everything Coinbase does flows from and reinforces the Coinbase brand. Sits at the center of Integrated Marketing and owns how the brand travels beyond campaigns into how the company builds, launches, and shows up.

What you'll do

• Close the gap between what Coinbase promises and what customers experience by helping the brand shape and impact every surface, from GTM to product to CX.
• Author creative GTM strategies for product and partner initiatives, working closely with Product Marketing and Partnership teams, and help shape the output from these briefs.
• Work with product marketers and partnership marketers to drive strategy upstream into the products delivered and the partnerships built, and Coinbase's role within them.

What you'll need

• Experience setting brand and product strategy either internally at companies or at agencies.
• Experience in shaping go-to-market strategy.
• Experience in delivering a brand across an organization, not just inside the marketing org.
• Strong persuasive writing skills, comfortable partnering with Insights to shape and design research and apply it to the problems you're solving.
• Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
• Demonstrates the ability to responsibly use generative AI tools and copilots (e.g., LibreChat, Gemini, Glean) in daily workflows, continuously learn as tools evolve, and apply human-in-the-loop practices to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in efficiency, cost, and quality.

Details

• Remote-first, but not remote-only; expect to get together quarterly for in-person working sessions called "surges".
• Annual base salary range (excluding equity and bonus): $205,785 to $242,100 USD. Total compensation may include equity, bonus eligibility, and benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k)).
• Candidates may submit a maximum of 3 applications within a 6-month period.
