Overview
Senior Middleware Developer to design, develop, and maintain integration and middleware solutions on Oracle Fusion Middleware and Java platforms.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and maintain solutions across Oracle Middleware platforms aligned to architectural standards.
- Build integration services using Oracle FMW products, Java, and SQL to meet business specifications.
- Create and review detailed technical designs ensuring requirements, use cases, and performance criteria are met.
- Develop and maintain UNIX shell scripts, scheduled jobs, and automation tools (Perl, Python, Jython).
- Write and optimize PL/SQL packages, queries, AQ queues, and jobs within Oracle databases.
- Build and consume REST/SOAP APIs using XML/JSON; develop transformations using XQuery and XSL/XSLT.
What you'll need
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware platform.
- Development experience in at least three of these: SOA Suite, WebLogic, OSB, and Java.
- 5+ years of relational database experience including PL/SQL, queries, AQ queues, and scheduled jobs.
- Experience in UNIX environments and shell scripting (shell scripting, Perl, Python, Jython or similar).
- Expertise handling XML/JSON and designing/consuming REST/SOAP APIs.
- Hands-on experience with GitLab and/or SVN for version control, merge requests, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience using Jira for issue tracking and project management.
Nice to have
- Basic networking knowledge for issue triage and system connectivity validation.
- Experience with Azure services and exposure to Node.js and TypeScript.
- Prior experience with PCI, PII, or GDP(R)D compliance requirements.
