Senior Middleware Engineer

Overview

Senior Middleware Engineer responsible for administering and supporting IBM MQ environments and enterprise messaging infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Install, configure, administer, and support IBM MQ environments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize MQ infrastructure.
• Manage MQ upgrades, patching, capacity planning, security compliance, and disaster recovery.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell automation for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Provide L2/L3 support and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams on complex issues.
• Drive platform improvements, documentation, and modernization initiatives.

What you'll need

• 5–10 years of hands-on IBM MQ administration and support experience.
• Knowledge of messaging architecture, HA/DR configurations, MQ security, and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Exposure to middleware technologies, Windows Server, networking, and IT operations.
• Experience with platform upgrades, migrations, monitoring, and operational support.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues and drive initiatives through implementation.

Nice to have

• Experience administering Microsoft BizTalk Server.
