Senior Network Engineer - LAN

Overview

Senior Network Engineer – LAN to support a mission-critical SaaS production environment and a Cisco Nexus-based datacenter network.

What you'll do

• Maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot IP networking components.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues involving external customers.
• Review, analyze, and execute network change requests.
• Partner with Network Architects and Engineers to improve datacenter network environments.
• Initiate projects to improve Network Operations.
• Develop and document network automation for repetitive tasks.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of experience working with medium-to-large enterprise networks.
• Hands-on expertise in routing (MPLS, OSPF, BGP) and switching (Cisco Nexus 9k/7k/5k/2k).
• Hands-on network security expertise with Palo Alto firewalls.
• Load balancing experience with F5 or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of Cisco IOS (Nexus OS preferred).
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Python (Netmiko, Nornir, NAPALM).
• Experience with datacenter networking including DC fabric, interoffice routing, and site-to-site VPNs.
