Senior Oracle Database Engineer – Manager

Overview

Senior Oracle Database Engineer responsible for database development, performance tuning, GoldenGate replication, and production support for in-house ETL applications.

What you'll do

• Analyze and optimize complex SQL queries and PL/SQL code.
• Resolve database bottlenecks, locking issues, deadlocks, and performance degradation.
• Monitor database performance using AWR, ASH, ADDM, and execution plans.
• Develop and maintain SQL queries, procedures, packages, functions, triggers, and views.
• Design and support Oracle GoldenGate replication solutions.
• Provide production support and conduct root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of experience in Oracle database technologies.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• Expertise in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, DDL, and DML.
• Experience with Oracle performance tuning and query optimization.
• Experience supporting Oracle GoldenGate implementations.
• Working knowledge of Exadata and cloud environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Azure and Snowflake services.
• Knowledge of the financial domain.
