Senior Payroll Specialist

Overview

Senior Payroll Specialist (Time and Absence Specialist) within HR Solutions in Navi Mumbai. You lead time and absence operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant processing and serving as the main contact for time/absence inquiries.

What you'll do

• Deliver accurate and efficient global time and absence services.
• Lead strategy, improvement, and change initiatives for time and absence operations.
• Oversee applications, manual workflows, employee data, and partner processes.
• Handle confidential data accurately and ensure timely payments.
• Maintain compliance, coordinate audits, and partner with HR and Controllership.
• Lead system implementation, change management, and service-center transitions.
• Serve as the main contact for time and absence inquiries.

What you'll need

• At least 3 years of technical and practical experience in time and absence, payroll, or a relevant area.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in human resources, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience designing or operating centralized business models for time/absence/payroll/finance/HR compensation.
• Advanced Excel, reporting, data analysis, and case-management or ticketing skills.
• Experience in high-volume operations, internal controls, audits, and complex labor/time/absence/payroll/benefits requirements.
• Cross-functional and cross-cultural change leadership plus strong communication and influencing skills.
• Experience with Workday, ADP eTIME, Kronos, Workforce Now, or similar time solutions (implementation experience preferred).
