Senior PeopleSoft Admin/Architect

Overview

Senior PeopleSoft Admin/Architect responsible for designing, installing, upgrading, patching, and maintaining PeopleSoft environments and related database infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Design, install, upgrade, and patch PeopleSoft environments and PeopleTools components.
• Execute PeopleTools and Application PUM upgrade activities.
• Perform PeopleSoft quarterly patching and manage Oracle DB patching and maintenance monitoring.
• Troubleshoot PeopleSoft system/server application issues and performance issues.
• Plan and support production migrations of code and configuration to Production using App Designer.
• Plan environment availability for end users and perform post-refresh activities on non-production.
• Monitor Production schedule jobs and handle database backup/restore and disaster recovery scripts.

What you'll need

• Minimum of five years of PeopleSoft infrastructure experience.
• Experience with PeopleTools (v854 and higher) and PeopleSoft 9.x (or above).
• Expert ability administering Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases.
• Competency in PeopleTools and Application DPKs; use customisation YAML; automation to build, update, and patch.
• Experience with shell scripting and Puppet (expected).
• Strong understanding of PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (PIA).
• Ability to coordinate interfaces with Project Manager and lead PS Admins on larger projects.

• Work shifts mainly in UK business hours but also EST.
