Overview
Senior Power BI Developer to design, develop, and scale enterprise business operations analytics and dashboards across multiple operational and finance domains.
What you'll do
- Translate business processes into scalable analytical models and self-service reporting solutions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for KPI definitions, business rules, calculations, and reporting governance.
- Design and maintain Power BI semantic models, including DAX measures, KPIs, hierarchies, and table relationships.
- Optimize data models for performance, scalability, and refresh efficiency.
- Implement data governance features including row-level security, workspace permissions, and dataset access controls.
- Partner with Data Engineering and IT/Data Warehouse teams on data readiness, data contracts, and refresh schedules.
- Reduce ad hoc reporting by standardizing core analytics views and enabling certified datasets for self-service.
What you'll need
- 5+ years of experience designing and developing enterprise Power BI solutions.
- Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Professional Certificate.
- Strong expertise in Power BI Service, DAX, semantic modeling, Power Query (M), and SQL.
- Strong expertise in data visualization best practices.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data analytics, business intelligence, information systems, computer science, or a related field.
