Overview
Senior Principal Enterprise Software Engineer responsible for architectural decisions, secure scalable solution design, and technical leadership in a regulated, fast-changing development environment.
What you'll do
- Drive architectural decisions through design reviews and engineering best practices.
- Architect and design secure, scalable solutions across desktop, web, and mobile platforms.
- Ensure solutions align with business objectives and regulatory standards (FDA, ISO, IEC 62304).
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to senior engineers and technical leads.
- Reduce architectural complexity and technical debt while maintaining quality and testability by design.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, development and test leads to align strategies and implementation plans.
- Contribute to iterative Agile/Scrum development cycles and ensure compliance with Agile principles.
What you'll need
- Minimum 18 years of software engineering experience.
- Deep expertise in architecting, designing, and developing solutions for desktop, web, and mobile platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s or PhD preferred).
- Proven experience as lead architect/principal designer for at least two end-to-end software development projects.
- Extensive experience developing medical devices in regulated environments.
- Strong enterprise architecture expertise, including microservices and advanced API development.
- Expertise in Python, C++, and C# (with proficiency in additional languages such as Java).
