Lead Full Stack Engineer - Vice President

Overview

Engineering Lead Analyst is a senior, hands-on technical leadership role for architecting and building next-generation platforms for Controls Technology.

What you'll do

• Lead a Scrum team while guiding technical direction and impacting system design.
• Build and contribute to highly scalable, containerized Java Spring Boot microservices.
• Explore and pilot AI-powered development tools to improve velocity and code quality.
• Design and implement robust, high-performance APIs for integrations with firm-wide control systems.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to shape APIs powering micro-frontend apps in React and Angular.
• Own feature delivery end-to-end from architectural design and specs through implementation and deployment.
• Mentor engineers on best practices in software design, containerization, and modern workflows.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Experience building and designing robust backend systems.
• Java/Spring Boot experience or modern frontend framework experience (React/Angular) is essential.
• Strong containerization experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift and cloud-native apps.
• Experience leading technical projects or acting as a tech lead for a development team.
• Interest in or experience with AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.
• Deep understanding of software architecture, microservice patterns, and RESTful API best practices.
