Overview
Principal Presales Solution Architect to lead design and sales strategy for enterprise hybrid cloud managed services, combining technical architecture, cost modeling, and Gen AI-assisted proposal work.
What you'll do
- Lead enterprise discovery and requirements-gathering for hybrid cloud infrastructure and objectives.
- Design end-to-end hybrid cloud managed service solutions covering datacenter ops, migration, modernization, and operational transformation.
- Produce solution architecture documents, technical roadmaps, and implementation playbooks aligned to customer maturity, budgets, and timelines.
- Present solutions to CXO-level and technical audiences and connect technical capabilities to business outcomes.
- Develop cost models, ROI analyses, and sensitivity scenarios for hybrid cloud solutions and value across investment horizons.
- Create executive proposal materials including summaries, diagrams, timelines, resource plans, risks, and success metrics.
- Partner with delivery leadership post-sales via transition documents, roadmaps, and guidance for delivery alignment.
What you'll need
- 8–12 years of experience in IT architecture, systems integration, or presales solutions roles.
- At least 5 years focused on hybrid cloud, infrastructure modernization, or managed services.
- Proven expertise developing cost models, financial analyses, and ROI scenarios for infrastructure and cloud solutions.
- Experience authoring technical RFP responses and proposals influencing deal wins or negotiations.
- Deep knowledge of hybrid cloud platforms including Azure (preferred) and/or AWS, with IaaS/PaaS, governance, and cost management.
- Hands-on familiarity with virtualization, storage, networking, security, and disaster recovery across on-prem and cloud.
- Proficiency using Gen AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot) daily in architecture and proposal work.
