Senior Principal Switch Architect

Overview

Senior Principal Switch Architect on the Teralynx switch architecture team, responsible for the architecture of Marvell's data center switch ASICs.

What you'll do

• Help shape next generation switch ASICs from concept through development to production.
• Define new features and protocols for next generation switch chips.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to drive implementation and testing of switch features.
• Perform detailed behavioral and performance modeling.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 15+ years of related professional experience, OR Master's / PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 10-12 years of experience.
• Experience in architecting, designing and verifying complex ASICs.
• Deep knowledge and experience with Layer 2 / Layer 3 forwarding, QoS, networking protocols, datapath and traffic management.
• Strong conceptual thinking, problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively collaborate across multiple teams and across multiple geographies.
• Knowledge of C / C++ and Python.

• Eligible to participate in Marvell's bonus and equity plans, including a new hire equity grant and annual equity refreshers.
