Software Engineering Technical Leader - Customer Experience / SDK - L2/L3, MPLS

Overview

Lead software integration, feature enablement, performance optimization, customer support, and adoption of Silicon One networking solutions across Cisco and open-source networking ecosystems.

What you'll do

• Lead design, development, integration, and optimization of Silicon One software solutions.
• Drive feature enablement through SAI and other networking software frameworks.
• Develop networking features for cloud, data center, and AI/ML deployments.
• Lead integration involving QoS, traffic management, congestion management, and load balancing.
• Analyze and resolve complex software and networking issues across development, qualification, and production environments.
• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and contribute to automation, validation, testing, and continuous integration.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of software development experience, or master's degree with 8+ years.
• Strong software development expertise in C++ and Python.
• Experience developing software on Linux-based systems.
• Experience with networking SDKs, abstraction layers, SAI, or similar frameworks.
• Strong understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking technologies and protocols.
• Experience with Network Operating Systems, networking ASICs, switching platforms, or network infrastructure software.
• Hands-on experience debugging, analyzing performance, and resolving complex networking software issues.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cisco or open-source NOS platforms, including SONiC.
• Experience with AI/ML networking, GPU clusters, RoCEv2, RDMA, or high-performance data center fabrics.
• Familiarity with Silicon One architecture, SDKs, and software ecosystem.
• Experience leading complex technical initiatives and coordinating across engineering organizations.
