Overview

Senior Software Engineer / Technical Lead developing large-scale calling and collaboration applications for macOS, iOS, mobile, and desktop platforms using C++ and Objective-C.

What you'll do

• Design and optimize calling and collaboration applications.
• Drive technical architecture discussions and platform strategy.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and quality.
• Lead design reviews, code reviews, investigations, and root cause analyses.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
• Improve performance, scalability, reliability, observability, and maintainability.
• Champion CI/CD, automated testing, and operational excellence.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expert-level C++ development skills.
• Strong experience with commercial software applications using C++ and Objective-C.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience designing distributed systems, communication platforms, or large-scale applications.
• Experience using AI-assisted coding tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with real-time communication, collaboration, VoIP, or calling platforms.
• Knowledge of SIP, XMPP, WebSockets, REST APIs, networking, and telephony systems.
• Experience with Cocoa Frameworks, Qt Widgets, macOS, and mobile application development.
• Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineers.
