Senior Procurement Analyst (Remote - Puerto Rico)

Overview

Senior Procurement Analyst supporting strategic procurement activities across the supply chain, leading sourcing, supplier negotiations and cost analysis, and resolving complex supply chain challenges as an individual contributor. This is a remote position based at the Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico location.

What you'll do

• Lead procurement processes, sourcing strategies, RFP development, supplier negotiations, and cost analysis activities.
• Purchase goods, materials, and services while ensuring favorable commercial terms and compliance with company policies.
• Prepare and manage purchase orders, pricing agreements, and procurement documentation.
• Analyze supplier pricing, financial data, and market trends to support sourcing decisions and cost reduction initiatives.
• Develop bid packages and evaluate supplier proposals for new business opportunities.
• Monitor supplier and contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and business requirements.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Finance, Quality, and Program Management to resolve complex supply chain issues and respond to customer inquiries regarding order status, changes, and cancellations.
• Identify, mitigate, and minimize supply chain risks to prevent production disruptions, critical line stops, and improve supplier delivery performance.
• Manage supplier relationships by expediting deliveries, resolving shortages, driving continuous performance improvements, and supporting business objectives.
• Prepare procurement metrics, presentations, and executive-level reports while supporting audits, recovery plans, leadership reviews, and traveling up to 10–15% as business needs require.

What you'll need

• A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
• Demonstrated professional or educational experience communicating in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice to have

• Prior SAP experience and procurement experience.
• Understanding of Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience supporting aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of contract terms and conditions, supplier performance management, and FAR/DFAR regulations.
• APICS or ISM certifications (CPIM, CSCP, CPSM, or CPM) are a plus.

Details

• Remote position based at the Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico location.
• Candidate must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered.
• Travel of up to 10–15% as business needs require.
• If living within a reasonable commute of a Collins site with colleagues, the manager may discuss a degree of onsite presence.
• Security clearance: None/Not Required.
