Senior Product Designer I (Remote Eligible)

Overview

Senior Product Designer focused on enterprise and platform design for Smartsheet’s web and mobile applications. The role combines UX craft, strategic thinking, design systems, and cross-functional collaboration to create scalable experiences for complex teams.

What you'll do

• Advocate for enterprise users through design thinking and user research.
• Partner with research and data teams to inform and validate design decisions.
• Design sophisticated features for complex workflows and enterprise requirements.
• Build and contribute to scalable design systems, patterns, tools, and libraries.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business partners on strategy and execution.
• Mentor junior designers and champion design best practices.
• Facilitate design activities and communicate design rationale across teams.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of experience as a Product Designer, Interaction Designer, or similar.
• Strong visual design skills.
• Experience delivering complex, scalable SaaS or enterprise experiences.
• Experience influencing design quality across an organization.
• Understanding of design systems and principles including accessibility.
• Expertise in agentic and generative design workflows.
• Degree in Design or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Experience designing enterprise or B2B SaaS products.
• Experience with WCAG standards and accessible design practices.
• Background in user research, usability testing, or user-centered validation.
• Experience with design systems, component libraries, or design infrastructure.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools and generative workflows.

Details

• Remote within the United States where Smartsheet is a registered employer.
• US base salary: $135,000–$190,000 USD yearly.
