Manager, UX Research (Remote Eligible - US)

Overview

Lead UX research for a core product area, translating customer insights into product decisions and measurable business impact. Manage a small research team while partnering with Product, Design, and Engineering leaders.

What you'll do

• Own the research roadmap for a product area.
• Manage and mentor a small team of researchers.
• Lead research planning and execution end to end.
• Align research priorities with business goals alongside Product, Design, and Engineering.
• Synthesize research with product analytics and competitive intelligence.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior leaders.
• Develop scalable research practices and infrastructure.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of UX research experience on digital products.
• Experience managing or mentoring researchers.
• Expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methods.
• Experience conducting complex research at scale.
• Experience aligning cross-functional partners around user needs.
• Ability to present research to executive audiences and influence decisions.
• Experience with B2B productivity, project management, or process products.

Details

• Fully remote within the United States where Smartsheet is a registered employer.
• Base salary: $155,000–$187,500 USD yearly.
