Senior Product Manager (Crypto Trading)

Overview

Own and execute trading products across Spot and Derivatives (Futures, Options) for Axi Crypto's Trading Product Team, working hands-on with the Head of Product to build and scale multi-country trading products, from problem definition through build, growth and iteration.

What you'll do

• Own and execute trading products across Spot and Derivatives (Futures, Options), with sharp prioritization and trade-offs focused on stability, retention and risk mitigation.
• Write detailed specs that translate complex trading requirements into clear, executable requirements for Engineering and Design.
• Go deep into the logic and mechanics of trading products, including order types, validation rules, pricing, fees, margin, leverage, P&L, order states, positions, cancellations, failures, edge cases and risk-related flows.
• Work closely with Engineering to understand, co-own and influence architecture, platform behaviour, APIs, order lifecycles, dependencies and technical constraints, balancing correctness, reliability and speed.
• Partner with Design to build intuitive trading experiences without compromising functionality for core trader types.
• Own the performance scorecard for your charter, resolve blockers and keep the team moving.
• Stay close to traders, channel trader feedback, observation, product data and research to identify problems and opportunities, and continuously improve the trading product.
• Define success metrics, monitor products after launch and drive continuous iteration.
• Sign off on everything that goes live from your roadmap.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of Product Management experience.
• Meaningful experience shipping equity or crypto trading products.
• Deep understanding of Spot and Derivatives (perps, options, etc.) trading mechanics and the order lifecycle.
• Ability to write or orchestrate detailed product specs that Engineering teams and AI agents can directly execute against.
• Achieve 100% coverage of formulas, edge cases, state transitions, validations, failure scenarios and test cases.
• AI-native workflows: use AI tools and LLMs as force multipliers with strong human-in-the-loop judgement; PRDs and prototypes are not one-shot prompt output.
• Force trade-off conversations and ground prioritization in business reality.
• Build products that carry an emotional valence; understand trader psychology, including why a trader chooses Axi over others.
