Senior Project Engineer

Overview

The Senior Project Engineer assists Project Managers in overseeing construction or real estate projects from initiation to completion, coordinating schedules, budgets, resources, stakeholders and project documentation.

What you'll do

• Assist Project Managers in overseeing projects from initiation to completion.
• Manage and coordinate project schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Review project documentation to ensure compliance with standards and contracts.
• Assist in procuring necessary materials, equipment, and services for project execution.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement contingency plans.
• Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders, ensuring transparency.

What you'll need

• Master’s degree in architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or relevant field.
• Knowledge of construction principles and project management methodologies.
• Proven experience in a similar role within the construction or real estate industry.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office.

Nice to have

• Professional certification (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.).
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and construction documents.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
