Senior Protection Engineer

Overview

Senior Protection Engineer to design and coordinate substation protection, metering, and automation systems and provide technical guidance within the team.

What you'll do

• Prepare and review design drawings and documents for protection, metering, and automation systems.
• Coordinate and deliver substation protection, metering, and automation system designs.
• Prepare and contribute to technical reports, specifications, tender documents, and proposals.
• Provide technical support, guidance, and leadership to junior engineers.
• Support knowledge sharing within the team and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.

What you'll need

• Have a strong background in protection principles, relay coordination, and substation automation.
• Have 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with TAQA and SE HV & EHV substation projects.
• Produce design drawings and calculation reports in line with TES-P-107, TES-P-108, and TES-P-119.
