Senior Python Developer

Overview

Senior Python Developer role focused on building and maintaining scalable web and cloud applications using Python, REST APIs, and cloud services.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, robust applications.
• Develop REST APIs and web services using Flask, Django, or Django REST framework.
• Create and maintain relational database designs, data models, and optimized SQL queries.
• Write unit/integration tests using Pytest (or unittest) with clean code and security best practices.
• Use Git for version control and collaboration.
• Support customer-based deputation when required.

What you'll need

• 5 to 8 years of hands-on software development experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python and the Python core ecosystem.
• Demonstrated experience with REST APIs and web services.
• Solid experience with relational database design, data modeling, and optimized SQL queries.
• Proficiency in writing unit/integration tests using Pytest (or unittest).
• Strong proficiency in Git version control.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS and serverless/managed services (e.g., S3, EC2, CloudWatch, Lambda, DynamoDB, Athena, AWS Config, Redshift).
• Familiarity with JavaScript libraries for basic front-end or full-stack integration.
• Prior experience in the IoT domain or IoT-connected products.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Rally.
