Senior QA Engineer

The role embeds quality throughout end-to-end delivery using agile and lean principles, with attention to product, technical, data, operability and resilience considerations.

What you'll do

• Work with the client and the team to ensure quality is embedded in every aspect of delivery.
• Provide support and leadership by mentoring client team members in quality principles.
• Collaborate closely with developers, driving the development of test frameworks and engaging in technical discussions.
• Continuously and iteratively improve testing practices.
• Maintain a holistic view of the spectrum of tests implemented to support the drive towards continuous delivery.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and adapt to changing environments.
• Consider testability across all phases of the software development life cycle.
• Enable the team to deliver quality products and services.
• Act as a catalyst for mediation and collaboration within the team.
• Contribute to the implementation and design of high quality pipelines through pragmatic choices of testing tools and frameworks.
• Participate in discussions regarding application architecture and understand the implications of those decisions on quality.
• Participate in collaborative programming and pairing.

What you'll need

• Proven senior-level experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer.
• Extensive experience working with E2E delivery teams enabling them to deliver software products to meet business outcomes.
• A deep understanding of agile and lean delivery principles and how and when to implement them, using several different methodologies.
• A strong understanding of both product and technical aspects that impact quality.
• Understanding of user requirements analysis, data requirements, and the general operability and resilience of the product.
• Deep knowledge of test methodologies and the ability to consider testability across all phases of the software development life cycle.
• A wide range of testing skills and the ability to apply them.
• A deep appreciation for non functional testing concerns.
• Understanding of continuous delivery and continuous integration.
• Experience with multiple languages and willingness to learn new development skills.
• An analytical mindset and a naturally inquisitive approach.
• Attention to fine grained detail and the ability to zoom out to a holistic view.
• Eligibility to work in India.
