Senior Requirements Engineer for Web-Based Commission Reporting, AS

Overview

Analyze and design technical requirements for a web-based commission reporting platform used by financial advisers to view commission earnings and related financial reports, ensuring incentive- and commission-related requirements are understood, validated and implemented.

What you'll do

• Engage stakeholders across business, product and operations to translate business needs into detailed functional requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria for development and testing teams.
• Define front-end user interface requirements, including usability and navigation, aligned with back-end database implementation, including data structures, SQL queries and mappings.
• Analyze end-to-end commission reporting processes and specify integration requirements among front-end portals, core calculation platforms such as SAP FS-ICM, and other internal upstream and downstream systems.
• Support solution design, maintain end-to-end traceability and manage requirement changes.
• Contribute to backlog prioritization, sprint planning and Agile ceremonies, and promote consistent documentation standards to safeguard the delivery approach and governance.
• Review technical and functional test cases and assist business users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

What you'll need

• At least eight years of experience in requirements engineering, business analysis or product analysis within complex enterprise applications, ideally with senior-level responsibility for requirements.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, enabling proactive problem-solving and holistic stakeholder management.
• Strong understanding of incentive, commission, compensation or financial reporting processes.
• Experience with portal and web applications (for example, Angular or similar front-end technologies), databases (Oracle and SQL) and system integration.
• Strong knowledge of Agile delivery practices and proficiency in Jira and Confluence.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems or a related discipline.
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimize workflows and solve business problems, while applying critical judgement to ensure the responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
