Senior Sales Engineer - India

Overview

Serve as the technical partner to Account Executives, helping enterprise customers in India understand and adopt LaunchDarkly for safer, faster software delivery.

What you'll do

• Partner with Account Executives to qualify opportunities and develop technical account strategies.
• Lead technical discovery and design solutions for customer software delivery challenges.
• Deliver product demonstrations, workshops, proof-of-concepts, and hands-on trials.
• Build relationships with technical and business stakeholders and enable customer champions.
• Communicate technical and business value to audiences from developers to executives.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering on customer outcomes.
• Provide field feedback to help shape the product roadmap.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or Technical Pre-Sales in enterprise SaaS.
• Experience working with enterprise development teams and technical stakeholders.
• Understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, infrastructure as code, feature flags, and progressive delivery.
• Ability to run technical demos, workshops, and proof-of-concept engagements.
• Experience supporting complex enterprise sales cycles.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Nice to have

• Background in software engineering, DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and microservices architectures.
• Programming experience in Java, Python, Go, Node.js, or .NET.
• Experience supporting enterprise deals in large organizations such as F500 or G2000 companies.
